Morwenna -Grenlando (Delfin(SU)/Greenland )  ex Abbagail (Auraba/Sheberama)

I have had the luck to find Morwenna in Wales  by a British international endurance rider, Pam James. She competed with Morwenna for 4 years in the UK. Morwenna is bay, 10 year old and a partbred mare who is 87 % Arabian. Morwenna is FEI*qualified by Pam James.

Pam James writes me:

"Yes, I have ridden for years and am now near to retiring - maybe just one more try if I can get there! My ride in Dubai was in 2005 and Selim also competed in Jerez in Spain in 2002 and many rides before these big ones since 1999. Before that I had a horse in the 80's called Forest Fox (3/4 TB) who went to the first FEI World Championship in Rome and was 9th and then to the Europeans in Erlangen in Germany where she cut her fetlock at 70 miles! and even before this I had a horse called Saxon who was in the first British team to go abroad to Montcuq before the FEI endurance existed!! And in between these a lovely horse called Jack the Lad who gave me lots of fun but was not good enough to get in a team although he did complete 100 miles so I have been very lucky to have such lovely horses. Selim unfortunately could not be called lovely because of his temperament but he is my old friend and will never leave the yard. He comes to the fence every once in a while and asks me for a ride...."

I dream of a new partner in sport like the years when I rode Epicha. My plans for Morwenna are good years with endurance rides at 40- 65 km length. Steady and easy riding for mature ladies ; mare as well as female rider. I hope for many fine hours of riding in Denmark with Morwenna and good friends of the endurance sport in the years to come.
